all in all, today was a pretty nice day to be at the beach.

i'm in the middle of organizing my books according to colour.

it's been a long while since i'd last been to talofofo falls. the last time was when sheila and matt came over on their honeymoon--how old is renee now? such crazy changes--at least we didn't have to drive down the steep muddy hill without any railings or guards. we did have to take some crazy cable car thingo that made me slightly nervous--how often is that thing seen by maintenance? how many pounds can one car handle?

luckily, the falls themselves seem relatively unchanged, except you can't go swimming in the upper falls. don't know if you want to go swimming in the lower falls.



there are three (possibly more) buddhas guarding the falls these days, which is nice, but why? is there something i don't know about?
